Valdevaqueros to Tarifa

We are very close to Tarifa and there is a ferry about every hour. So we take it easy, waking up slowly and drinking more than a coffee. Then we cycle the last few kilometers to the center of Tarifa, all on a brand new bike path along the coast. What a luxury! When we arrive at the port, we meet another French guy (Luis) who is also crossing the strait to cycle around the world starting from Africa. We board the ferry and in an hour we are in Tanger! We disembark, say goodbye to Luis, agreeing to meet up again in the next few days, and head to the hostel. There we meet a guy from Bahlil (near Fez) and decide to have dinner together, talking about Morocco, it's society and the recent protests held mainly by GenZ 212 movement. GenzZ is the generation born between the late 1990s and early 2010s, and 212 for Morocco's telephone code. Ibrahim is very young and it is very interesting to hear his opinion about his country. In Morocco, more than 40% of people are under 25 and youth unemployment rate is close to 40%. Being a monarchy, it will certainly not be easy to change things, but many factors are on their side. Or I hope so.
